In a meeting held on 06/16, ABES's Deliberative Council unanimously approved the nomination of Andriei Gutierrez to assume the position of Vice-President of the Statutory Board. Since 2016, Andriei participates intensely in the entity, where he leads the Regulatory Committee and the Brazil Movement, Digital Country. In 2022, he was invited by the current board to be Deputy Director and, in the same year, he was the most voted candidate to compose the Board of ABES.

In 2020, as ABES representative, Andriei was one of the founders and the first Executive Secretary of the LGPD Business Forum, which brings together more than 100 sector entities to promote legal certainty and the culture of privacy in Brazil.

Andriei has more than 20 years of experience in multinationals and research institutes in areas such as technology, innovation and political science. Between 2015 and 2021, he was an executive at IBM in Brazil in the area of Government Relations and Regulatory Affairs. Since September 2021, he leads Kyndryl's Government Relations and Public Policy area for Latin America. And, in April 2023, he assumed global leadership for Public Policy on Artificial Intelligence at the company where he works. Doctor in Political Science, from Unicamp, and Doctor in Sociology from Université de Provence (France), Andriei is married and the father of two girls.

He will occupy the position on the Statutory Board left by Fabio Rua who, after a long time dedicated to ABES and the technology sector, went on to work in the automotive market, as Vice President of Public Relations, Communication and ESG for General Motors in America do Sul, whom the association would like to thank for their engagement and contributions in recent years.
