With the announcement, the company now operates in 12 countries in Latin America
Logicalis, a global information and communication technology solutions and services company, has just announced the expansion of its operations in Latin America with the start of its operation in the Dominican Republic. The objective is to meet the demand of regional customers who are also expanding their activities in the country, reinforcing the strategy customer-centric from the company.
The new unit will have professionals dedicated to local operations and will be supported by processes and technical and commercial resources from across the region, ensuring a robust operation and the ability to meet the current and future needs of customers in the Caribbean.
“The arrival in the Dominican Republic reinforces our bet in the region and consolidates, more and more, our position as a strategic partner in Latin America. Today, we serve customers that operate in the most diverse countries in an integrated manner and, at the same time, respecting local characteristics", says Rodrigo Parreira, CEO of Logicalis in Latin America, noting that currently, around 60% of revenue comes from customers with operations in more than one country in the region.
The new unit will be led by Carlos Brito, Executive Vice President of the region that also includes Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico and Puerto Rico. “In addition to serving our main regional customers even better, our goal with this operation is to win new recurring revenue contracts and create long-term relationships with other companies. We believe there is significant potential in the country and we have all the structure and expertise to support customers and drive technological development in the Dominican Republic,” says Brito.
The Dominican Republic will be the company's 12th operation in Latin America, since Logicalis already operates in eleven other countries in the region: Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico and Uruguay.
