ABES (Brazilian Association of Software Companies) strongly condemns the acts of vandalism that took place this Sunday (01/08/2023) at Praça dos Três Poderes, in Brasília (DF). We expect energetic and swift actions by the constituted authorities, within the limits of the Rule of Law, for the verification of the facts and the proper accountability of the agents.
With the purpose of contributing to the construction of a more digital and less unequal Brazil, in which information technology plays a fundamental role in the democratization of knowledge and the creation of new opportunities for all, ABES is against any act of violence and reiterates unrestricted support for the rule of law.
