The company is the first designer and manufacturer of electric motorcycles in Brazil; The solution will provide a more robust management system for operations, in addition to more security in the management of processes

Ramo Sistemas, a national company focused on solutions for small and medium businesses and a SAP partner, announces the closing of a contract with Origin Motos, the first electric motorcycle manufacturer in Brazil with businesses focused on rental and services, for the implementation of SAP Business One . The project's go-live is scheduled for November this year.

Origin Motos is the first designer and manufacturer of electric motorcycles in Brazil. With an office in Brasília and a factory in the Manaus Free Trade Zone, the company develops and manufactures electric motorcycles for professional use and battery change stations that are available at various points in the city, such as gas stations and shopping malls.

With a fixed monthly rental model, the company bets on a complete ecosystem of services, ranging from maintenance to fleet tracking and management.

With electric motorcycles connected to the Internet and a network of battery change stations available at various locations, the rider completes the battery change process in less than a minute. Its first electric motorcycle model has an engine with a power of 3kW and 182 Nm of torque, which guarantees agility and comfort in traffic.

Origin Motos recently raised R$ 100 million in a round that will energize its expansion plan, including producing five thousand motorcycles over the next year. The round was led by Atmos Capital and had the participation of consultancy Visagio, from Bain Capital, in Boston, and Bee Cap, from former CFO of Energisa Cláudio Brandão Silveira, who had already invested in previous rounds and advised Origin in the transaction. .

For now, Origin Motos serves corporate fleets and delivery couriers. Among its customers are companies such as Getnet, Stone, FedEx and Box Delivery, which pay a fixed monthly amount to run the company's vehicles. The package includes insurance, IPVA, maintenance, tracker, free running, unlimited battery changes at Origin Exchange Stations, in addition to access to the fleet management system with customized reporting and real-time alerts. Currently, leases take place only in Brasília, but the company will expand to other states as early as 2023.

The company's growth profoundly impacted the entire backoffice workflow. To optimize expansion, the company adopted SAP Business One and relied on the experience of Ramo Sistemas in this segment. Origin Motos understood that it needed a robust ERP to enforce the internal controls, essential to consolidate the company's expansion.

“We carried out a market research to evaluate the best integrator of SAP Business One, since we already knew about SAP's ERP. We knew that the solution would ensure greater operational, accounting and financial compliance for Origin Motos, but we needed to look for the best supplier. After some research, Ramo Sistemas stood out from the competition for its differentiated consultancy and support, not to mention the experience with companies in the Manaus Free Trade Zone, with reliable and honest performance”, says Carlos Pimentel, accounting director of Origin Motos.

For him, the implementation of SAP Business One will provide a more robust management system for operations, in addition to more security of processes to obtain profitable financial and administrative KPIs.

As Décio Krakauer, president of Ramo Sistemas, explains, this solution centralizes and integrates all business data from sales, inventory, purchases, operations and finances in a single place, which makes it ideal for growing companies. “Every company needs a good management system, after all it is the heart of any business. ERPs gather and integrate data from all sectors of the company, organizing and storing them automatically. Certainly SAP Business One will contribute a lot to the evolution of Origin Motos”, he adds.

“We seek to solve the autonomy and price challenges with an innovative solution for companies and professionals, very complex to operate. We believe that SAP Business One will be essential to assist in this equation of offering a sustainable and intelligent modal for the Brazilian public”, says Diogo Lisita, CEO of Origin Motos.
