Latest Adobe Real-Time Customer Data Platform apps, Adobe Journey Optimizer and Adobe Customer Journey Analytics are HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) ready
Adobe (Nasdaq:ADBE) announced the Adobe Experience Cloud for Healthcare, a new solution that empowers healthcare companies to deliver customer journeys with personalized and secure digital capabilities. More patients have become accustomed to accessing healthcare experiences digitally, and because of the confidential nature of this process, companies operating in the space need to ensure they are tailored to meet consumers' individual needs, whether online, over the phone or in the office.
Adobe Experience Cloud for Healthcare enables healthcare and life sciences organizations to unlock and enable robust insights into health and behavior that can shape everything from member acquisition and retention to connected health. The solution will enable healthcare companies to safely deliver world-class consumer experiences and empower consumers to actively participate in their own health.
"As consumers become increasingly comfortable with digital experiences, it's up to healthcare companies to deliver the same trusted personal experiences both online and in the office," said Stephen Frieder, senior vice president of global corporate sales at Adobe. "Now, with Adobe Experience Cloud for Healthcare, healthcare companies can build trust, improve wellness outcomes and personalize the experience with critical insights."
Adobe Experience Cloud for Healthcare unlocks new capabilities in the healthcare and life sciences industries, including:
- Medical care providers:with Adobe Experience Cloud for Healthcare, providers can give consumers more choice when it comes to managing their care. Likewise, they can inform their suppliers about their preferred channel of communication, such as receiving appointment reminders or service management tips via text or email. Providers can then combine this data with other healthcare data to provide an integrated, connected experience focused on better customer service and loyalty.
- Insurers: the complexity of the healthcare ecosystem can be overwhelming for your consumers. With data insights available in Adobe Experience for Healthcare, insurers can help their members navigate the healthcare system and reduce costs. For example, using a single view of member activities across all channels (including complaints, website visits, online chat or phone support), payers (insurance companies) can take a holistic view of their members and their care. Payers will be able to provide personalized recommendations for everything from in-network experts to wellness exam scheduling.
- Pharmacies:Adobe's breadth of omnichannel capabilities enable pharmacies to customize and unify digital and in-store experiences for visitors. With Adobe Experience Cloud for Healthcare, pharmacies can leverage an accurate understanding of their visitors' health and behavioral data so they can send automated, timely prescription alerts and reminders. Pharmacies can also automate data-driven offers that can build customer loyalty and drive business growth.
- Life science companies:these companies can use Adobe Experience Cloud for Healthcare to engage providers and participants with timely information in the right channels. This includes secure access to real-world health data that can be used to identify patients for relevant testing. The platform also allows companies to send reminders to study participants, along with pertinent information specific to their treatment.
Healthcare companies reinventing the customer experience with Adobe include Change Healthcare, CommonSpirit Health, Eli Lilly, GE Healthcare, Mercy Health, Pfizer, Roche Diagnostics, Thermo Fisher Scientific and Walgreens Boots Alliance.
Reliable and safe patient experiences
Healthcare companies will be able to use Adobe Experience Cloud for Healthcare and securely leverage healthcare data to personalize the consumer experience. Healthcare companies are already using HIPAA-ready applications including Adobe Marketo Engage, Adobe Experience Manager as a Managed Service, Adobe Connect as a Managed Service, Adobe Acrobat Sign and Adobe Workfront to create and deliver personalized digital experiences.
Adobe Real-Time Customer Data Platform (CDP) is expected to be HIPAA ready in May 2022, giving healthcare companies the ability to gather a complete view of healthcare consumers. In addition, Adobe Customer Journey Analytics and Adobe Journey Optimizer are also expected to be HIPAA-ready later this year, empowering healthcare companies to turn actionable insights into connected and personalized healthcare experiences.
