The Transamérica Hospitality Group, with more than three decades of experience, improves the management of its processes with TOTVS systems. The project, which consists of integrating the operations of all units in the group, aims to change the level of digitalization of the network, in addition to supporting adaptation to the reality imposed by the pandemic. With the solutions, all hotels now have an integrated management, in addition to implementing resources that contribute to a more digital and secure service for guests and employees.

The contract, which covers all the operational fronts of the Transamérica group (resorts, events and hotels), will allow managers to have business information centralized in a unique and robust system, which will serve the activities of backoffice, hotel management, customer relations and distribution.

"With the transformation of the entire managerial part of the business, I believe that we will inevitably have a more efficient and closer service to our customers" says Wagner Rustiguella, IT Manager at Transamérica Hospitality Group. “The project was closed in February this year, just a few weeks before the pandemic started, so my perception is that we ended up going through a double adaptation. Overnight we had to put all the teams in the home office, temporarily close the units and still perform the migration of all data and processes to the TOTVS systems. It is a big change in the company's culture ”, says the executive.

Despite the countless challenges faced, the Transamérica group believes that the partnership with TOTVS will contribute to the company working more quickly and with a focus on the guest experience. “The need to modernize our management has been around for some time, after all, the fiscal, accounting and operational information was dispersed in more than one system, which prevented us from having a single view of the business”, explains Wagner. “TOTVS's great differential, for us, is the ability to serve the different operations of the group with systems accessible from anywhere. In addition, it is the supplier of other renowned chains, which gives us the certainty that we are dealing with a company that understands the laws and other characteristics of the hotel sector ”.

Although they have suffered a great impact due to the coronavirus crisis, investment in technology may be the necessary differential for the resumption of hotels to occur in a shorter period than expected. Cláudio Cordeiro, Hospitality director at TOTVS, believes that the project implemented by the Transamérica chain is the ideal move to take the lead after the economic recovery. “Whoever had the opportunity to invest in adapting the business during the pandemic will return with more strength to compete and deliver a totally new experience to customers, according to the new security protocols, without neglecting the main factor of this market: providing moments to the guests, ”concludes Cláudio.
