2S Inovações Tecnológicas has just created an area specialized in Application Performance Management (APM), which was born with the challenge of showing customers that improving users' perception of applications is fundamental for business.

"Today, the low performance of applications is a serious problem, because the slowness for the user is the same as unavailability and, if that happens, he will have no problem going to the competition with the risk of never coming back", emphasizes Lucas Genonadio Mitraud, responsible for the new APM area at 2S.

With a degree in Computer Engineering and an MBA in Information Technology Management, Mitraud brings experience in APM in other IT integrators with clients in the oil and gas, industry and financial market segments. He also acted as a consultant, support, after-sales, management and sales, always managing the performance of business applications.

Among its goals is the implementation of procedures and new services that incorporate Cisco's APM tool, AppDynamics, into the integrator's current portfolio. "The main differentiator of 2S, compared to the competition, is having the entire cycle of continued services to offer to customers", says Mitraud.

According to Gartner, by 2021, the need to manage increasingly digitized business processes will lead companies to monitor 20% of all business applications through Application Performance Management, well above the 5% recorded in 2017. .

The 2S executive explains that to meet this demand, the integrator is ready to offer:

Digital Experience Monitoring – Observe and analyze interactions between digital actors (such as individuals and communities) and digital applications, services and business processes;

Application Discovery, Diagnostics and Tracing – Understanding the interrelationship between application servers, mapping business transactions, allowing deep inspection of methods and other important infrastructure resources;
Artificial Intelligence for IT operations – Allows, in an automated way, the discovery of performance patterns, events and the detection of the root cause of anomalies in transactions.

"More than just showing the execution times, it is possible to obtain detailed diagnostic data, insights at the code and business level, query the database and even monitor the logical and physical infrastructure involved", he adds.
