Virtual meeting organized by ABES takes place on the 12th, at 8:30 am, and addresses the opportunities for the IT sector and the differentials for hiring ICT products and services

São Paulo, May 6, 2021 - ABES - Brazilian Association of Software Companies organizes the next virtual meeting to talk about the new Bidding Law focusing on information technology. Next Wednesday, May 12, at 8:30 am, the invited specialist, Ronny Charles Lopes, Union Lawyer and Co-Coordinator of the post-graduate course in Bidding and Contracts, from the Bahia Faculty of Law and from the CERS Faculty, meets with Rodolfo Fücher, president of the association, and Ana Carolina da Motta, Head of Public Policy AWS, Brazil and Coordinator of the Public Procurement Working Group at ABES, to explain the new modalities created by the bidding laws, the opportunities for the IT and the differentials for hiring ICT products and services. This event is in line with the creation of the Public Procurement WG, carried out by ABES in 2020, which aims to present proposals for modernization, simplification, transparency and greater legal certainty in this market segment, based on the interlocution of the association with the Executive and Legislative, in addition to suggesting strategies that include public procurement as a factor that transforms public services, accelerates the digital economy and induces innovation, among other initiatives.
