São Paulo, March 24, 2021 - ABES - Brazilian Association of Software Companies, in partnership with Nuvini, organizes the next virtual meeting to talk about mergers and acquisitions in the Software as a Service (SaaS) environment. Next Wednesday, March 31, at 8:30 am, the entrepreneur and investor Pierre Schürmann, Founder / CEO of Nuvini, meets with Diego Carmona, CVO & Co-founder of Leadlovers; Fernando Salla, Co-founder and CEO of Effecti, and with Rodolfo Fücher, president of ABES, for the “Café on M&A in the SaaS environment”. Entries must be made on here and participation is free.

“The mergers and acquisitions market is booming, with many companies seeing new possibilities and opportunities for growth and scalability. I was very attentive to this and I realize that, with Nuvini, we will be able to bring together large market-leading companies into one strong and diversified group, which will help SaaS services to be more competitive and efficient ”, explains Schürmann.

Mergers and acquisitions (M & As, merger and acquisition in English) ended 2020 on a high in the ICT market, overcoming the paralysis of movements in the first months of the year, due to the uncertainties generated by the pandemic. In the end, important national and international operations were registered. “With regard to the global Software as a Service (SaaS) market, it has been one of the sectors for investment opportunities in recent years. Specifically in Brazil, the information technology sector as a whole totaled 172 transactions in the year, with growth of 26% compared to 2019, according to a study by PwC. Debating these perspectives is fundamental, that's why we have prepared this virtual meeting ”, explains Fücher.

“Being able to participate in an event of an entity as relevant and impactful as ABES is gratifying. The meeting will be very important to discuss the new vision that the market has adopted over the past few years, a differentiated M&A operation strategy. The entrepreneurial ecosystem is opening up, showing large entities that the acquisition of startups that solve specific problems is an opportunity to expand their range of solutions, position themselves ahead in the market and continue to innovate ”, emphasizes Fernando Salla.

This is an event in line with the role of ABES in ensuring a business environment in the Brazilian market that is conducive to innovation, ethical, dynamic, sustainable and globally competitive.
