ABES gathered its members and guests, this Monday (1/04), in the Cantaloup Restaurant, for the dinner of investiture of new directors and of the new board for the 2019-2022 triennium, elected on March 21, and which has Rodolfo Fücher as executive president. With over 35 years of career in the technology market, 27 of them dedicated to Microsoft, where he served as director of Corporate Relations, Fücher is currently a founding partner of FEMP Participações, an investment and consulting company in the area of entrepreneurship and the third sector. .

Paulo Milliet Roque, director of the Digiforte Certification Authority, took over as Vice President. On the occasion, Jorge Sukarie Neto, president of Brasoftware and vice president of the Deliberative Council of ABES, presented the latest data on the Brazilian IT market. "With a growth of 9.8%, Brazil surpassed the world average of IT investments in 2018, which was 6.7%. These data show that a timid recovery of the Economy observed in 2018, combined with the expectation of a more vigorous recovery from 2019 onwards. Francisco Camargo

Francisco Camargo, founder of CLM Software, who has been at the helm of ABES for the past three years, as its executive president, and who assumed the presidency of the Deliberative Council, presented the initiative AN ETHICAL COMPANY, which aims to encourage its associates to formally adopt the highest ethical standards in dealing with their affairs, internal or external; improve the standard of behavior in dealing with customers, suppliers, competitors, employees and government agents, and create formal rules to implement them.
 
Camargo also explained how the service works Membership Reporting Channel, which is part of the program: "It allows you to register, in a totally anonymous and independent way, complaints about events that are not in conformity with the ethical and moral standards established by company norms or by the laws of the country".

The event was also attended by Daniel Annenberg, municipal secretary of Innovation and Technology of the municipality of São Paulo, who spoke about the City Hall's initiatives for the digital transformation and construction of a more human and connected city, such as São Paulo Tech Week, the Digital Entrepreneurs program and the expansion of the WiFi Free program. "It is important to work together so that São Paulo can become an innovation hub".

 

Annenberg also referred to Aline Cardoso, municipal secretary of Labor and Entrepreneurship in the City of São Paulo, highlighting her professional and political trajectory and her contribution to expanding the participation of women in the Technology sector. Aline, who was also one of those honored with the Brazilian Movement's ambassador plaque, País Digital, emphasized the joint goal of both secretariats in the training of qualified professionals, one of the major bottlenecks for digital transformation. “It is an honor for me to be here with Daniel. We are two secretaries who together defend qualification in terms of economic development and work ”.
