Since the launch of Copilot, it's been exciting to see our customers incorporating AI into their lives, both personal and professional, creating stunning visual identities, tackling their overflowing email inboxes, starting the writing process more fluidly, recovering missed meetings and more. With Copilot, we are committed to giving everyone the opportunity to enhance their creativity and productivity. Available on all devices, via the web or through our Copilot mobile app on iOS or Android, getting started with Microsoft Copilot has never been easier.
Expanding Copilot Pro offerings for individuals
We're making Copilot our free Microsoft 365 web apps part of your Copilot Pro subscription, without the need for an additional Microsoft 365 subscription. While a personal or family subscription to Microsoft 365 is still required to unlock Copilot in the PC and Mac desktop apps, we're excited to bring Copilot for Word, Outlook and more free web apps for additional Pro subscribers[1]. We will also extend this benefit to our free mobile apps, including the Microsoft 365 app and Outlook for iOS and Android, in the coming months.
In January, we launched a suite of Copilot GPTs who can be your personal trainer, travel agent, and assistant chef. And now, the ability to create and share custom Copilot GPT with Microsoft Copilot GPT Builder is available to all Copilot Pro subscribers. Copilot GPT Builder allows you to create a custom Copilot designed to help you with specific tasks, with based on your interests. You can create a GPT Copilot to act as your career mentor, or even a study buddy to help you learn a new skill – the possibilities are limitless, and you can do it all from within Copilot.
As part of our mission to empower every individual on the planet to achieve more, we are making available the Copilot Pro for more people. Copilot Pro is now available in all 222 countries/regions where Copilot is supported. We want all power users, creators, and anyone else to take their Copilot experience to the next level.
And to make it easy for anyone to get started and experience all of the features and benefits of Copilot Pro, we offer a one-month free trial to those who install our Copilot mobile app on iOS or Android.
With one Copilot Pro subscription, individuals get the most advanced features and capabilities of Microsoft Copilot to supercharge their Copilot experience. This includes priority access to next-generation models, AI capabilities in Microsoft 365 apps (a Microsoft 365 personal or family subscription is required to access Copilot in desktop apps), enhanced image generation and editing capabilities, and access to Microsoft Copilot GPT Builder.
Copilot for Microsoft 365: Available for organizations of all sizes
While Copilot Pro is our best experience for individuals, Copilot for Microsoft 365 is our best experience for organizations. To empower all organizations to become AI-powered, we're making Copilot for Microsoft 365 available to businesses of all types and sizes, including plans for frontline workers. Customers who have Microsoft 365 F3 and F1, Office 365 E1, Business Basic, and more will be eligible to purchase Copilot for Microsoft 365 in the coming weeks[2]. This adds to the availability previously announced on Microsoft 365 E3 and E5, Office 365 E3 and E5, Business Standard and Business Premium plans.
Copilot for Microsoft 365 works across your entire work data universe and is integrated with the Microsoft 365 apps that millions of people use every day: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and more, as well as Web. And with the Copilot Studio, you can customize Copilot for Microsoft 365 using your company data or create your own Copilot experiences. It is built on Microsoft's comprehensive approach to enterprise security, privacy, identity and compliance and is supported by Microsoft Customer Copyright Pledge. 40% of Fortune 100 companies have used Copilot for Microsoft 365 through our Early Access Program[3]. This means that tens of thousands of people at companies like Visa, BP, Honda and Pfizer are already using Copilot to work in an AI-powered way. As we said in January, we've seen faster adoption of Copilot for Microsoft 365 than our E3 or E5 suites.
