ABES will promote, on October 15th, from 3 pm to 4:30 pm, the inaugural meeting of Intellectual Property Committee. The initiative aims to intensify the debate on the importance of effective management of intellectual property and promote a broad dissemination of knowledge, tips and strategies that guarantee greater legal protection for members.
The leadership of the committee will be in charge of Victor Lima, representative of the associate Kazsnar Leonardos, a company recognized for its work in intellectual property. Victor will bring his experience and expertise to lead the discussions and align efforts in favor of protecting the intellectual assets of the software companies associated with ABES.
In addition to fostering a collaborative environment, the meeting will also serve to identify other members interested in sharing leadership of the committee. This environment is very important for software companies to discuss market strategies related to intellectual property, ranging from brand positioning to contract structuring.
ABES once had an intellectual property committee, which unfortunately ended up being deactivated a few years ago. With the continuous advancement of the IT market, many members have shown a growing interest in reactivating this committee, signaling its relevance to face contemporary challenges. This proposal was recently approved by the current board of ABES, explains Carolina Marzano, who is the Coordinator of Committees and Working Groups (WGs).The reactivation reflects the need to keep up with the new demands of the sector and strengthen collaboration between ABES members”, he highlights.
