Stimulating a culture of personal data protection in companies is one of the objectives of ABES, in order to encourage them to be careful with the personal data of their customers, employees and stakeholders. Therefore, the association will promote the “Training General Data Protection Law: Introduction and Best Practices“, on February 1, 2023, directed exclusively at representatives and employees of its associates.
Free, online, live and with a 4-hour workload, this training will enable participants to understand the principles established by the LGPD (Law 13.709/18), the impacts of the law on day-to-day activities, the measures of security and good practices, in order to make people aware of the subject, helping companies in this journey of adapting to the LGPD. Participants in this training will receive a certificate.
The training is coordinated by Thomaz Côrte Real, ABES lawyer and legal consultant, with the participation of other specialists in the areas of law and information security. “Participating in this training on the General Data Protection Act is very important. With it, people will have the opportunity to learn a lot about this topic that is so relevant and necessary today. In addition, you will be able to clear all your doubts with the extremely experienced professionals who will teach the course. This knowledge is essential to protect the personal data of Brazilian men and women and to avoid penalties for non-compliance with the LGPD”, highlighted Thomaz.
