ABES was present at the Workshop held by Brazilian Support Service for Micro and Small Businesses (Sebrae) on May 9th and 10th, 2024. The meeting, which took place in São Paulo, aims to build a Work Plan for the Technical Cooperation Agreement with entities representing the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) segment, the project Sebrae ICT. The focus of the plan is to create favorable conditions for the development of companies in the ICT segment, a sector in constant evolution and of great importance for the country's economy and social development.

ABES was represented at the workshop by Clara Savelli, Project Coordinator; Hevelyn Monzani, Associate Relationship; and Heloísa Matias, Legal Assistant. Jorge Sukarie, ABES advisor, was present on the second day of the event (10/05), when he led a presentation of data from the Software Market Study: Panorama and Trends 2024.

Representatives of other important entities for the ICT sector also participated in the workshop, such as AFRAC – Brazilian Association of Technology for Commerce and Services; ASSESSPRO – Federation of Associations of Information Technology Companies; BRAFIP – Brazilian Technology Platform; SOFTEX – Association for Promoting Excellence in Brazilian Software and the regional SEBRAE PR and SEBRAE RJ, in addition to SEBRAE Nacional.

The exchange of ideas and experiences between professionals and entities from different areas is essential for building a more favorable and efficient scenario for the development of ICT companies. Therefore, this type of actions is in line with ABES's proactivity and constant search to contribute to the advancement of the sector, creating a business environment with more opportunities, legal security and strategic connections.
