Research institutes, academic medical centers and the entire healthcare industry will be able to gain insights into diseases and their impacts to optimize treatments
The updated analytics platform has an unprecedented range of real-world data sources, including CancerMPact
Oracle has launched Oracle Analytics Intelligence for Life Sciences, a cloud-scale, AI-powered data and analytics platform that simplifies and accelerates the generation of insights by unifying disparate data into a single, intelligent workflow. The new solution empowers users to answer multidisciplinary research questions, generate insights, and integrate these insights into existing Oracle Health and Life Sciences applications. As a result, healthcare organizations can more accurately identify industry needs, assess commercial viability, and optimize treatment launch strategies. This innovation is another step in Oracle’s vision to bridge the gap between research and clinical care.
“Oracle continues to deliver breakthrough products that modernize and enhance clinical research and bridge the gap between the bench and the bedside,” said Seema Verma, executive vice president and general manager, Oracle Health and Life Sciences. “With Oracle Analytics Intelligence for Life Sciences, we are breaking down barriers that have stifled innovation in the industry and providing the tools and intelligence needed to advance treatments with speed and precision.”
Powered by a wide range of real-world data sources, including CancerMPact, the platform delivers actionable insights out of the box with pre-built datasets, data pipelines, adaptive models, and analytics that drive patient experience, safety monitoring, treatment efficacy, and brand measurement. Oracle Analytics Intelligence for Life Sciences customers using Oracle Learning Health Network will also have up-to-date anonymized Oracle Real World Data (ORWD) data available in their analytics environment, providing even greater access to more insights.
Oracle Analytics Intelligence for Life Sciences is powered by Oracle Health Data Intelligence (HDI). Built on the security and high performance of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Health Data Intelligence integrates, protects, and analyzes data from diverse sources, including electronic health records (EHR), enterprise applications, insurance claims, and demographic records, to provide a more comprehensive view of both individual patients and the overall health of the population.
This EHR-agnostic platform is a continuous learning ecosystem that leverages provider applications to support intelligent clinical decision making, care coordination, and value-based care delivery. With Oracle Analytics Intelligence for Life Sciences, Oracle is now extending this platform to enable clinical research and insights generation that feed the HDI ecosystem into a continuous learning cycle.
The platform was developed in coordination with Oracle’s world-renowned Research Services division, combining cutting-edge technology with Oracle’s expertise. This collaboration brings together leading experts in biology, including the oncology researchers behind CancerMPact, to deliver an innovative platform that drives insights and treatments with unmatched speed and accuracy.
