Trend Micro Check uses Artificial Intelligence to assess and identify threats in real time
THE Trend Micro, a global leader in cybersecurity, today announced the launch of Trend Micro Check, a mobile app with advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities designed to protect consumers. The innovative solution helps users quickly identify the authenticity of messages, ads and social media posts, as well as verify whether a video call is legitimate or a deepfake.
A recent Trend Micro survey of 4,080 consumers found that 731% of respondents believe the volume and risk of cyber scams has increased over the past year. Additionally, 791% of respondents expressed concern about a family member falling victim to an online scam, with 96% saying they would take steps to protect themselves and their family from these threats.
While 71% consider themselves confident in their ability to identify scams, 62% said they would use an app that could quickly verify the authenticity of emails, social media posts, advertisements, text messages and phone calls.

- Scam check: assesses in real time the likelihood that a piece of content (ad, message, email or URL) is fraudulent, providing a clear summary of security concerns and recommendations for action;
- Deepfake scan: identifies deepfake scam attempts during live video calls;
- SMS Filter: Automatically blocks spam and scam text messages before they reach your Inbox;
- Call blocking: prevents telemarketing calls, robocalls and spam;
- Web Protection: blocks dangerous websites and filters suspicious ads.
