THE Dynatrace announces Roberto Carvalho as Vice President for Latin America. The executive, who previously held the position of Vice President for South America, will now report directly to Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer, Dan Zugelder, reinforcing the company’s global expansion strategy.

“It is with great purpose and enthusiasm that I take on this new challenge in Latin America,” says Roberto. According to the executive, the global market for observability and application security exceeds US$1.4 billion. Dynatrace has become the pillar of digital transformation, artificial intelligence, cloud modernization and operational resilience strategies for thousands of companies around the world.

The executive has worked at Dynatrace for 9 years and has worked at major IT consultancies and global software manufacturers, holding several regional positions before joining Dynatrace.

The executive assumes a new role at a time of great success for Dynatrace, which recently celebrated the fifth anniversary of its Initial Public Offering on the New York Stock Exchange. Since its IPO, Dynatrace has consistently demonstrated innovation and growth, solidifying its position as a critical force in helping the world’s largest companies deliver flawless and secure digital experiences. Over the past five years, Dynatrace has become one of only 81% of public software companies in North America and Europe to exceed $1 billion in annual revenue. It has also achieved a compound annual growth rate of 28% in revenue, with nearly $5 billion in cumulative revenue and over $1 billion in cumulative operating cash flow over the past five fiscal years (last fiscal year ended March 31, 2024). Dynatrace has also generated a return of nearly 180% since the IPO, more than three times the average return of the 2019 IPO cohort.

Dynatrace was recently positioned as Most Complete in Vision and Best in Execution in the Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Observability Platforms. Dynatrace was also ranked #1 in three of five use cases in the Gartner Critical Capabilities 2024 report for Observability Platforms. Gartner evaluated 17 vendors and ranked Dynatrace #1 in the following use cases: Application Health and Performance Monitoring (4.27/5), Hybrid Infrastructure Platform Operations (4.25/5) and Business Insights (4.22/5).
