The executive built his career in the technology area of Financial Services and arrives with the objective of expanding the company's product portfolio.
Dígitro Tecnologia, a pioneer in the development of Customer Journey, Intelligence and Defense solutions, has announced the arrival of Márcio Eduardo Souza as its new Chief Technology Officer. With solid experience built over more than two decades in the Brazilian market, especially in Financial Services, which are technology companies that provide financial services to other companies, the executive has experience at consulting firms Accenture, Check Express, Credify and Vcom.
At Dígitro, Márcio arrives with the mission of ensuring that innovation is present in all processes and that new products are developed in the business verticals in which the company already operates, such as intelligence and communications. To this end, he sees Artificial Intelligence as a great catalyst for new businesses and products. “The innovation we want involves not only the process of building innovative products, but also the generation of codes, software production, and the entire product cycle. We are going to make Dígitro breathe Artificial Intelligence,” he states.
With a degree in Computer Science from Senac University Center in São Paulo and an MBA from Fundação Getúlio Vargas, Márcio began his career as a developer and quickly assumed leadership positions, managing product development teams, service restructuring, process implementation and sales. According to the executive, his time in the sales area greatly improved his way of working.
“With practical experience in customer service and sales, I began to pay more attention to aspects such as financial margin and delivery and product launch deadlines. This is an expertise that technical knowledge does not always provide. I have had the opportunity to develop in this area throughout my career and now I intend to share it with my team here at Dígitro,” says Márcio.
