FCamara, a technology and innovation ecosystem that transforms the adoption of digital journeys into value for business, announces the arrival of Bento Caldeira Ribeiro as the new director of the group's Retail BU. The hiring aims to strengthen the company's presence in the sector, also contributing to supporting customers in their respective digital transformation journeys.
“One of the biggest challenges for retailers today is the difficulty of integrating different systems, so that the omnichannel strategy and the shopping experience are fluid for the consumer”, explains Ribeiro. “For this reason, I also arrive with the mission of helping FCamara enhance its ability to orchestrate specific architectures and solutions for these customers’ pain points, reducing costs and increasing efficiency and revenue.”
The executive has a degree in Business Administration from PUC São Paulo and has extensions and specializations at the University of Virginia, University of Minnesota and Boston University, with stints at large companies such as Infracommerce, TEVEC Systems LLC, Lawsoft SA, Y. Takaoka Empreendimentos and W3/Tecnidata. Furthermore, he founded and led, for 9 years, a company focused on artificial intelligence (AI) for general retail and food industries, which was acquired by a multinational in 2022.
At FCamara, Bento Ribeiro will be part of Kleber Santos' team, VP of Digital Value Creation, a concept created to transform technology adoption into business results for companies. “The company is concerned with, in each project, thinking about economic viability and what can be used from investments already made by the company, to optimize innovation costs and accelerate the achievement of results”, he states.
