The rise of technologies during the pandemic period is still intense. If there were still a few years left for the novelties to be implemented, now they are conditions to maintain business. In this scenario, Gartner predicts that the use of the cloud and low-code, or low-code, will almost triple by the year 2025.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, this development platform has been a prominent technological tool, helping teams to create applications almost immediately and without the numerous complexities of programming languages. Its use contemplates the aid for different levels of difficulties, being important to differentiate the technology according to the degree of advantages. In this regard, there are three variations:

No-code – it is a tool to develop applications without the use of any code, and can be used by anyone without programming knowledge. As it has few possibilities of adaptation and complementation, it is more suitable for simple projects.

Low-code – to use it it is essential to have previous knowledge about programming. It is widely used to improve software development by being able to automate and simplify the advancement of applications in general. Some tools have an approach that does not require as much code knowledge. Unlike no-code, low-code allows more flexibility for configuring and customizing applications.

Enterprise low-code – ideal for companies that focus on developing applications with the same security, performance, scalability and flexibility that they would have using the manual method, also accumulating the benefits of no-code and low-code for simple, useful and intuitive development .

The emphasis and attention drawn to the use of low-code enterprise is in the routine and in the evolving demands of organizations, as this option supports a greater volume of users and integrations, running in the cloud in a scalable and flexible way. ERPs (Enterprise Resource Planning) and mission-critical applications, whether in public or private sectors, are examples of the use of this technology. In any of the low code modalities it is possible to notice that there are advantages of use. But, the different levels add improvements that can accompany the growth of the business.

If the new world culture for 2022 within the technological universe is to always be prepared for unforeseen events and global risks, such as pandemics, long periods of social isolation, restrictions and constant blackouts in the IT workforce, investing in tools that guarantee protection and innovation equivalent to a company's insurance.

Digital transformation is continuous and fast and cannot be limited to limiting programs, as companies that do not consider the ability to evolve will certainly be lagging behind in the market competition in 2022, which projects more active shopping habits and more versatile in unusual situations. .
