Rodolfo Fücher, president of ABES, travels today (22) to Beijing in a continuous effort to develop a channel for the internationalization of technology ventures

After participating in missions to Israel and Silicon Valley, where he signed partnerships with IBI-Tech and BayBrazil, respectively, Rodolfo Fücher, president of ABES (Brazilian Association of Software Companies), joins today (22) the presidential mission in Asia, in Beijing, China, in a continuous effort to position the Association as a key player in the international market, helping to attract investments to Brazil and developing a channel for the internationalization of companies and technology startups associated with ABES.

ABES aims to contribute to the construction of a more digital and less unequal Brazil, in which technology plays a fundamental role. In this sense, the Association seeks to ensure an environment conducive to innovation and in which there is competitiveness among companies in the sector, stimulated by the positive numbers of the market: the IT sector grew 9.8% in 2018 (the world average was 6.7%) and the expectation is 10.5% in 2019, against 4.9% global.

“Brazil presents itself today as an excellent opportunity for investments by foreign companies. However, despite the growth of the Brazilian technology market, we still have a negative perception, mainly due to the tax complexity and expensive and time-consuming legal process. Our objective in the mission to Asia is to continue our efforts in attracting investments in the country and creating an internationalization channel for our associates, making available to foreign companies more than 33 years of ABES experience in the legal, regulatory and tax areas ” , explains Rodolfo Fücher.

The ABES president will accompany the presidential mission until October 27, following technical visits, conferences, networking meetings and investment rounds in Beijing, China, and Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates.
