“We live today in an era of exponential data generation, coming from different sources and formats. In this context, knowing how to speak the language of the data is essential, both for companies to make the right decision with the data, and for the professional, who feels more capable and prepared for the daily business challenges. day. Data Literacy is a skill that must be learned and shared at all levels of organizations”, says César Ripari.

André Elias, ABES takes a big step towards attracting attention and appropriating an emerging and extremely important theme. “Addressing the subject of Data Literacy means focusing on the need we all have, in some way, to more easily understand and take advantage of the various Inputs we have or receive. In a Society with the exception of information, our ability to select and interpret must be perfected, starting from our children. Bringing this to our professional environment, it means saying that Companies depend not only on Technology and Processes, but on People who are actually capable of: reading, interpreting and quickly transforming the most diverse data available into useful information. We are talking about Culture. Therefore, just as Data Literacy has a huge impact on Companies, it can and should also be explored for the digital elevation that establishes itself in Society”, he declares.

The association is committed to providing more and more content and services to its members and partners, with the purpose of contributing to the construction of a digital and less unequal Brazil, in which information technology plays a fundamental role for the democratization of knowledge and the creation of new opportunities for all, in an inclusive and equal way.
