There are 8 members of the group nominated for vacancies in edicts 1, 3 and 4 of the ANPD Council. Appointments aim to ensure a business environment conducive to innovation, ethical, sustainable, dynamic and globally competitive

With the purpose of contributing to the construction of a more digital and less unequal Brazil, in which information technology plays a fundamental role for the democratization of knowledge and the creation of new opportunities for all, ABES - Brazilian Association of Software Companies , one of the founders of the Business Front in Defense of the LGPD (General Data Protection Law), expresses support for the members of the group that were appointed to compose the triple list of the CNPD (National Council for the Protection of Personal Data and Privacy) of the ANPD (National Data Protection Authority).

The association believes that, with the appointment of members of the LGPD Defense Business Front, it will be possible to ensure a business environment conducive to innovation, ethical, sustainable, dynamic and globally competitive.

“They are specialists and business leaders who are motivated and engaged in building an effective culture of privacy with a balance and legal certainty between the protection of rights and innovation. Throughout the LGPD Front's existence, we have worked hard together and, without a doubt, all 8 members would deserve to be part of the CNPD ”, points out Rodolfo Fücher, president of ABES.

On the Business Front in Defense of the LGPD and Legal Security

The Business Front in Defense of LGPD and Legal Security was created on August 5, 2020. Around 80 business entities, representing more than 14 sectors of the Brazilian economy and totaling almost 80% of national GDP, decided to meet in defense of LGPD and to seek legal certainty on an issue that affects all Brazilians.
