São Paulo, August 31, 2021 – ABES – Brazilian Association of Software Companies, will participate in a live held by Universidade Nove de Julho (UNINOVE) that will debate ESG, crisis and technology companies. The meeting will take place on September 2, at 5:30 pm and will be presented on the college youtube.

The debate will include the participation of Jamile Sabatini Marques, the association's Director of Innovation and Development and a postdoctoral degree from USP, Global Cities program; Tatiana Tucunduva Phillipi Cortese, lawyer, master and doctor in public health and post doctorate in global cities; Felipe Martins, doctor in administration and master in production engineering and bachelor's degree in foreign languages applied to international negotiations; and Viviane Camana Patrício Delgado, coordinator of the university inclusion program (PRIUNI), and mediator of UNINOVE's interactive lives.

“ESG is becoming more and more important for companies and is the stage for countless debates this year so that we can seek alternatives and best practices for beneficial growth for all. For ABES, this theme is directly linked to its purpose of contributing to the construction of a more digital and less unequal Brazil, in which information technology plays a fundamental role in the democratization of knowledge and the creation of new opportunities for all , in an inclusive and egalitarian way”, affirms Jamile.

Recently, ABES launched the "Mobilization for the Reduction of Inequality" with the objective of reducing the impact on the environment through the proper disposal of IT equipment, and using the resources obtained in this process, to invest in projects for sociodigital inclusion, aligned with the best ESG practices and the 8 Social Development Goals of the Global Compact. The mobilization has a partnership with ReUrbi and the Third Sector Observatory, and with the support of Weber Shandwick.

Companies can choose social projects around their headquarters, and depending on the volume, the equipment can be removed free of charge.
