Classes take place between January 22nd and 26th and are aimed at people with basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JS

According to the “2024 Salary Guide”, produced by Robert Half, front-end developers are among the most demanded technology professionals in companies. Given this scenario, the alura, the largest tech learning ecosystem in the country, is opening registrations for the first edition of Front-end Immersion. With the expectation of receiving 80 thousand people, the free course takes place between the 22nd and 26th of January.

There will be five online classes, immersive and with practical challenges, with the aim of solidifying the knowledge of those who already know the basics of HTML, CSS and JS. Additionally, students will have access to an exclusive community on Discord, where they can connect with other students and request support from instructors such as Guilherme Lima, tech educator and instructor at Alura and USP; Fernanda Degolin and Mayara Cardoso, both developers at Globo and Itaú, respectively.

“Last year, the Front-end school had more than 115 thousand enrollments. Therefore, this is an important milestone for the beginning of many people's journey into web development. With the adoption of advanced frameworks and practices, our initiative aims to provide a deep experience to participants, preparing each of them to face challenges with more confidence and expertise”, highlights Julia Chagas, marketing director at Alura.

Activity schedule

The course simulates a scenario in which the developer works on Spotify and needs to create a navigation page with the platform's main rhythms and suggestions. The first class provides a general review of HTML, CSS and JS, while the second and third focus on CSS, covering aspects such as positioning and responsiveness. The fourth shows how to make changes with the SUN, followed by a last meeting that introduces the frameworks React and Angular. The schedule also includes three lives, which take place, respectively, on the 19th, 24th and 29th of January.

Registrations for the Front-end Immersion are open from January 4th to January 21st, free of charge, by this link.
