The company's affirmative actions are aligned with Sustainable Development Goal No. 10 of the United Nations, which seeks to reduce inequalities with the global pact to eliminate discrimination in employment. “We are proud to be able to launch this opportunity that recognizes the importance of creating an even more representative and egalitarian work environment and offering opportunities for those who want to start their career in the sector”, explains Roberto Paolini, executive director of People and Organization at Arteris .
Diversity and Inclusion Program
The Arteris Affirmative Internship Program is another initiative of internal committees formed by employees and leaders based on its Diversity and Inclusion Program, which, in addition to Race, also works with the PwD, Gender, LGBTI+ and Generations pillars.
The objective is to make the work environment a place that respects differences and promotes well-being. During the company's 2022 Diversity and Inclusion Census, with 80% of employees joining, 92% of the total respondents stated that they feel comfortable working at the company being who they are.
In relation to the PwD pillar, Arteris recently held the first Recruitment Fair for people with disabilities for the Arteris Litoral concessionaire (SC and PR), and has the second Fair underway on the stretch of Arteris ViaPaulista, in the interior of São Paulo.
Within the Gender pillar, the company currently has 52% men and 48% women in its workforce, with 38% female leaders. As a result, it was the only company in the sector recognized with the Will Women in Leadership award, created by Women in Leadership in Latin America, and also with the “Incredible Places to Work” and “Most Incredible in Gender Equality” seals, awarded by FEEx and UOL.
