The Institute will also offer an extension of the fundamentals courses in technology and cloud at Escola da Nuvem

Escola da Nuvem and Instituto PROA announced this week that they will join forces to train more young people for the job market. From now on, Instituto PROA will offer, in addition to technical training in Java Web Development, also an extension of the courses on fundamentals in technology and fundamentals in cloud at Escola da Nuvem.

Alini Dal'Magro, CEO of Instituto PROA, explains that the organization's PROPROFISSÃO project has been transforming the lives of around 330 young people a year. The course, today, has a workload of 440 hours, in the form of professional qualification in Java Web Development and the training is based on the development of skills that, in addition to the technical areas, also develop cultural and behavioral aspects.

“The main objective of the partnership between Escola da Nuvem and PROA is to enhance the technical training of young people in the PROPROFISSÃO program, adding fundamental skills in technology and cloud fundamentals. This new training will be an optional specialization path for young people in our PROPROFISSÃO project, with meetings taking place outside of class hours”, points out Alini.

The CEO of PROA also points out that another novelty is the expansion of the placement program in the job market, since, after training with Escola da Nuvem, students will also be part of the institution's employability journey area, as with the BOW.

With a focus on the employability of these students, in addition to fundamental courses, Escola da Nuvem now offers online courses in soft skills, as well as mentoring with technology professionals, who address topics such as the job market in technology and how they are selection processes, in addition to answering questions from students regarding the content and activities of the classes.

According to an IDC survey, by 2026, the ICT market in Latin America will have a demand for over 2.5 million professionals in Latin America and the Caribbean. In Brazil alone, the estimate is that the labor deficit in this sector will reach 800,000 in 2025, according to the Association of Information and Communication Technology Companies (Brasscom). Given this scenario, the mission of Escola da Nuvem is to serve as a gateway for new professionals in the field of technology. For 2023, the goal of Escola da Nuvem is to train 3,000 students.
