Participation of associates in the selection process demonstrates the union of the sector in Brazil
ABES – Brazilian Association of Software Companies promoted, last week, elections for the renewal of 1/3 of its Deliberative Council. The Election Commission, composed of the executive president, Rodolfo Fücher, the legal director Dr. Manoel Antonio dos Santos and secretary by Anselmo Paulo Gentile, respected the statute in force and coordinated the electoral process, following the form and times defined in the Call Notice .
According to Rodolfo Fücher, executive president of ABES, the process is important for the good governance and management of ABES (which currently represents around 85% of the IT software and services market), and the adhesion of associates to the electoral process demonstrates the strength of the Brazilian technology market. “Companies in our sector are united in favor of a common good, which is a digital and less unequal Brazil. This year we reached the mark of 678 valid votes, through a completely digital process. With a strong association, we will be ever closer to this goal”, he declares.
The election promotes the renewal of the Board, from which the new Executive Board will leave in March 2022 for the 2022-2024 triennium. The members elected were Jorge Sukarie Neto, Rodolfo Fücher, Carlos Alberto Lima Sacco, Vanda Scartezini, Francisco José de Arruda Camargo, Paulo Milliet Roque, Fabio Rua, Onivaldo Roncatti, Gerson Mauricio Schmitt and Francisco Antonio Soelt.
