Since the beginning of social isolation, a major concern of companies has become increasingly evident: how to maintain the mental health of employees, especially when working at home. Data show that between February 2020 and May 2021, employee demand for emotional care increased by an average of 50%, and anxiety is the main reason.
ABES (Brazilian Association of Software Companies) realized the importance of offering a service to its members and entered into a partnership with B2 Saúde e Bem-Estar, contemplating the EAP Carelink (employe assistance program/employee support service), with a focus on emotional health – a service that will be made available free of charge for 2 months to members and their families, according to the contribution and rules that will be further disclosed by the entity. The program is based on four pillars of assistance: legal, social, financial and psychological, with the objective of working on prevention and promotion of emotional health. In addition to the employee, your entire family will be able to use the service.
The launch will be made online, on October 1st, after the Emotional Health in Companies webinar, coordinated by the CMO of B2 Saúde, Charles Lopes, a psychologist graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University, and which takes place at 8:30 am. The event will be free and will also feature the participation of Carmem Cremonezi, from EAP Carelink, and Carlos Sacco, Director of Relationship and Services at ABES. The initiative is a joint effort by company leaders to effectively extend this care to more people, because even with hybrid work and vaccines applied to a large part of the population, we still face the future with pressure, fear and anxiety regarding uncertainties.
