According to a survey carried out by the Ipsos Institute, commissioned by the World Economic Forum, 53% of Brazilians declared that their emotional and mental well-being worsened a little or a lot in 2020, due to the pandemic. This percentage is only higher in four countries: Italy (54%), Hungary (56%), Chile (56%) and Turkey (61%). Symptoms like anxiety, sadness, nervousness, insomnia or depression are reported by people in other studies.
Data also show that, between February 2020 and May 2021, employee demand for emotional care increased by an average of 50%, with anxiety being the main reason.
In light of this reality and in celebration of its 35th anniversary, ABES announces a new partnership and services for member companies and their employees.
To present this differentiated service, ABES will hold the virtual chat “Employee Emotional Health – a great challenge for companies”, in partnership with B2 health & well-being, on October 1st, at 8:30 am.
The speaker will be Professor Charles Lopes, graduated in Psychology from the Pontifical Catholic University and CMO of B2 Saúde & Bem-Being, a company present in the insurance market for over 20 years, specialized in bringing solutions to the health segment. The event will also have the participation of Carmem Cremonezi, Director of Emotional Health Programs at Carelink, and Carlos Sacco, Director of Relationship and Services at ABES
