With a blind selection method, based on artificial intelligence, the program will select students for different areas

THE  ADP, a global reference in payroll management and human capital management solutions, announces the opening of its 2021 Internship Program. Carried out in partnership with the company RECRUIT.AI, this year's selection process will bring novelties in the method of choosing candidates, which will feature artificial intelligence and blind selection. The senior manager of Human Resources at ADP, Ana Carolina Oliveira, explains that promoting diversity is very important for ADP and one of the company's fundamental pillars. “We know that the inclusion of minorities in the technology sector needs to advance a lot in Brazil. Therefore, in line with the principles that guide the ADP, this year, we decided to reinforce this point in our selection process”, explains Ana Carolina.

 

“Our idea is not to have an exclusive program for a single group, but to encourage, for example, the presence of women in technology areas, which should grow even more in the coming years and offer many job opportunities”, she adds. 

Participants in the ADP 2021 Internship Program will be selected through an innovative methodology created by RECRUIT.AI, which uses artificial intelligence to support recruiters in choosing future hires. The company uses the process called 'Big 5' to carry out the assessment behavior of the candidates. 

The system 'Big 5' it is composed of the five central personality traits that can be identified through a lexical (linguistic) analysis. “In addition to making the process more agile for candidates, this system will allow managers to visualize the candidates' strengths and areas with greater affinity, allowing for a more assertive targeting of vacancies”, highlights Ana Carolina. 

This year, ADP will have 21 vacancies and selected candidates will be able to work in different areas of the company, such as technology, HR, legal and sales. The interns approved in the selection start at the company in the second half of this year. The program will last for 12 months, and may be renewed for another 1 year. 

University students from all courses can apply and are expected to finish in the second half of 2023. Those hired will work in São Paulo (SP) and Porto Alegre (RS) and, in addition to the scholarship, they will also receive transportation vouchers. , meal vouchers (food at the company, when face-to-face activities resume), medical assistance, life insurance, among other benefits disclosed on the registration portal.
