Fully online course has facilities for low-income people who want to become a Software Developer

ABES – Brazilian Association of Software Companies – following its purpose of contributing to the construction of a more digital and less unequal Brazil, closes a partnership with Blue EdTech, a startup with social impact that trains Analyst or Junior Developers. The company seeks young talents for technical and behavioral training, supporting and directing the insertion of these young people into the job market.

“We are currently facing a lack of qualified labor in the technology sector, which tends to increase if we do not make training young people a priority to work in this sector. We have a growing market and a lot of work to be done, but few people capable of doing it. This partnership with Blue EdTech is fully aligned with what we are most looking for today: an environment conducive to innovation in the healthcare sector, in which technology plays a fundamental role in discovering new ways to improve the quality of life in Brazil", he says Rodolfo Fücher, president of ABES.

Through an innovative methodology, Blue EdTech invests in a quick and practical technical course and, in 6 months, the student will be able to enter the job market. In addition, the program has career mentoring and guidance, weekly monitoring of technical and behavioral support in the first semester, assessments, communication soft skills courses, leadership, problem solving, agile methodology and assistance in the selection process with market experts ( tech recruiters).

“Blue was born to create bridges between knowledge, brilliant people looking for a way to market and companies looking for minds to expand their horizons. And this partnership will further strengthen the objective focused on the social impact of our country”, says Daniela Lopes, CEO and Founder of Blue EdTech.

The program is especially aimed at helping low-income youth, as it promotes the 12-month course and the student only starts paying when their salary starts to reach R$ 3,500 per month. As of the 7th month of study, the student is already able to enter the job market and will pay only 15% of his monthly salary. The total cost of the course is R$ 18 thousand, but the student only starts paying when he is working. Interested in participating in the program can access on here .
