São Paulo, June 21, 2021 – ABES – Brazilian Association of Software Companies – will hold on June 23, at 10:00 am, an entirely online event to present the current services and benefits that the entity offers to its members, who are organized into five pillars: INNOVATION, ETHICS, DYNAMISM, SUSTAINABILITY and COMPETITIVENESS. The association invites companies to participate in its purpose of collaborating in the construction of a digital and less unequal Brazil, in which information technology plays a fundamental role in the democratization of knowledge and the creation of new opportunities, seeking to improve the quality of life of all, in an equal and inclusive way.

"The role of technology companies has become essential to ensure a more inclusive and egalitarian society and, therefore, we invite companies to be part of our objective of ensuring a promising business environment, offering support in the most diverse areas, such as: legal , tax, regulatory, LGPD, market data, government development and financing, complete compliance structure. We want to share 35 years of experience”, says Rodolfo Fücher, president of ABES.

Aiming to encourage the participation of associates in the entity's projects and in the direction of the Brazilian software, services and technology industry, ABES has Working Groups (WG) focused on Business Development, Future of Work, Regulatory, Public Procurement, Taxation, Data Protection, Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence. The meetings function as forums for discussion of specific issues related to the sector, presentation of proposals and action plans, and their operation is guided by an internal regulation established by the association, which defines best practices: operation, form of action, results and reports.

The event will feature the presence of Rodolfo Fücher, President of ABES; Carlos Sacco, Director of Relationship and Services; Jamile Sabatini Marques, Innovation and Development Director; Thomaz Côrte Real, Legal Consultant; and Carolina Marzano, Compliance Officer. Registration is free and open to anyone who wants to know better the work developed by the association and is interested in promoting market growth and building a new sectorial model, with more stable rules and better targeting of public investments, in addition to promoting Brazilian research and innovation.
