Make a note in the agenda and be prepared to celebrate the 5 years of trajectory of Brazil, Digital Country. The event will take place on the 19th of May, at 8:30 am, with live transmission on social networks ( Instagram Facebook and YouTube ) of the movement. The virtual meeting will present the history and important data conquered by the social movement, which is non-partisan, formed by people and organizations passionate about technology, innovation and, mainly, for its democratic and inclusive power.

“With the aim of informing and mobilizing people and organizations interested in thinking about Brazil from the perspective of the digital - and intelligent - transformation of the country, the initiative values an economy driven by data and governments committed to dynamically providing services, safe, bureaucratic and totally digital, in addition to believing in the positive and responsible power that technology can exercise to bring citizens and governments closer together ”, says Fabio Rua, Co-founder of Movimento Brasil, País Digital.

“We are a non-profit society movement, led by the Brazilian Association of Software Companies (ABES), and whose main banner is to work for the construction of a Nation Project that is more digital and inclusive. Over the 5 years of the initiative, we were able to impact more than 10 million Brazilians through the portal www.brasilpaisdigital.com.br and our social networks, in which we have about 170 thousand followers. We are Brazil, a Digital Country that works tirelessly for a more Digital and Less Unequal Nation ”, explains Andriei Gutierrez, Co-founder and Coordinator of Brazil, Digital Country.

In addition to the event on May 19, the organizers of Brazil, País Digital still intend to celebrate and debate the digital transformation throughout the month. To this end, they are inviting all partner entities as well as all the personalities and authorities who received the award for Ambassador of Brazil, País Digital to produce testimonials in videos about a balance sheet and the prospects for the country's digital transformation. The intention is that these contents are shared throughout the anniversary month of the initiative.
