Starting the strategy of regional expansion and with the purpose of contributing to the construction of a more digital and less unequal Brazil, ABES - Brazilian Association of Software Companies is betting on two new female leaders.

Flávia Brito was appointed Vice-President of the association in Pernambuco. Betting on the growth of the information technology industry in the Northeast, Flávia takes office at a time when the pandemic has significantly increased the need for investment in cloud environments, in addition to systems that increasingly support the infrastructure oriented to the home office. “As VP of ABES Pernambuco, I want to promote the association's best practices, bring in new members and disseminate the culture of sustainability through the ReciTech Program. In addition, to discuss new technologies and applications capable of giving traction to the digital transformation of companies in the Northeast ”.

Juliana Natrielli was chosen as Deputy Director of Micro and Small Companies. With more than 10 years of experience, highlighting his by the Ministry of Economy and SEBRAE, he will be responsible for matters and decision making on entrepreneurship and new businesses, supporting partnerships and initiatives that stimulate innovation. “I am very happy with the invitation and being able to continue the work I had been doing in the area of entrepreneurship in recent years, now by ABES. The digitalization agenda for micro and small companies in Brazil is urgent, and has gained momentum now, due to the current pandemic scenario by Covid-19 ”.

“The announcement strengthens the strategy to ensure the relevance of ABES for the sector throughout the national territory, and especially for micro and small entrepreneurs, who represent 77% of its membership. As well as reinforcing the purpose of building a more digital and less unequal country. In addition to contributing to the increase in jobs held by women in the technology sector, which for many years was considered a totally male work environment, we have other market views and more diversity for decision making ”, explains Rodolfo Fücher, president of ABES.
