Associates who respond to the survey will apply for vacancies in the Foundation's 100% online program. Virtual meeting will take place on April 7, at 5 pm

Sao Paulo, April 5, 2021 - In order to promote the development of companies in the software sector and enhance their results, ABES - Brazilian Association of Software Companies and Fundação Dom Cabral announced, in early March, the launch of the partnership “PAN ABES FDC”, and now they have as their first activity the realization of the research "Management Diagnosis" , made available to members, in which it will be possible to identify the challenges and critical issues for their developments. Executives who answer the questionnaire will participate in the drawing of two vacancies in the course “Digital as a response to the crisis”, FDC's 100% online program, listed among the top 10 business schools in the world.

“Receiving the Management Diagnosis provided us with guided strategic planning, providing a fertile environment for the propagation of ideas and generation of excellent insights”, explains Rafael Martinelli, CEO of Redspark, one of the associates who has already responded to the survey.

The survey, which brings about 50 questions distributed in the economic-financial sub-themes, market, internal processes and technology, customers and people for analysis, also includes companies from FDC's PAN (Growth Acceleration Program), which has the goal of helping to develop companies with a turnover of between R ﹩ 2 and R ﹩ 15 million per year, in addition to other companies in development.

“With the results of the survey, it will be possible to outline a scenario that will enable companies to understand in which sector of the company it is necessary to dedicate more attention and at what points are the development opportunities they have”, says José Antonio Capito, associate professor at Fundação Dom Cabral, who works in the Strategy and Finance area in the PAN - Partnership for Business Acceleration program.

For Rodolfo Fücher, president of ABES, the partnership helps to ensure a business environment conducive to innovation, ethical, dynamic, sustainable and globally competitive. “We aim to contribute to the construction of a more digital and less unequal Brazil, in which technology companies play a fundamental role, with solutions that facilitate our daily lives, democratize knowledge, and create opportunities for income, inclusive and egalitarian way. With the result of this research, we will be able to direct our efforts to improve the management of these companies, in line with the best ESG practices (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance) and transforming our purpose into concrete actions. In addition, the vacancies for the course that will be drawn are also aligned with this objective ”, he points out.

The course is focused on helping those who want to understand and transform their business environment. “Digital as a response to the crisis” aims to broaden the understanding of the countless opportunities of digital technologies based on a solid strategic vision, enabling the implementation of innovative projects and increasing the capacity to generate effective results. Next Wednesday, “Happy Hour with Fundação Dom Cabral: How does agile management change the context of a crisis?” will address how agile management changes the context of a crisis, in addition to bringing cases of communication, effectiveness, team integration, well-defined roles and responsibilities. The event will take place on April 7, at 5 pm, and will include the participation of José Antonio Capito, associate professor at FDC; Camila Gil, manager of medium-sized companies at FDC; Rafael Martinelli, CEO of Redspark, and Rodolfo Fücher, president of ABES. Registration is open to everyone, not just ABES members, and must be made on here and participation is free.

“Times of crisis emphasize the importance of good management and show that true management involves a series of different skills. With remote work, we need to reinvent ourselves, trim our beliefs and grow as leaders to keep the team productive and motivated, ”says Martinelli.

This event is in line with ABES 'purpose of providing more and more content and services to its associates and partners, as the entity acts with the purpose of contributing to the construction of a more digital and less unequal Brazil, in which information technology plays a key role in the democratization of knowledge and the creation of new opportunities for all.
