Embraer opens registrations for another edition of Embraer Social Tech Careers, this time focusing on professionals aged 50 and over. Registration for the new class of this technology career acceleration program begins on Monday (5). There will be 165 scholarships offered to experienced people who are looking for new learning and, preferably, are part of other underrepresented social groups.
To compete for one of the places in the program, promoted in partnership with the edtech SoulCode, people from anywhere in Brazil must register via the link https://soulcode.com/embraer/embraersocialtechcareers. In addition to age, the selection process will filter aspects related to gender, race/ethnicity, disabilities and sexual orientation – with the intention of contributing to increasing diversity in the technology market. Candidates will also undergo logic and basic computer tests.
Of the total scholarships offered, 100 will be available to the general public – double the amount offered in the last edition. Another 65 vacancies will be directed to Embraer employees.
Registration closes until September 6th, and the results of the selection process will be announced at the end of the month, until September 27th. The training is online and starts on September 30th, lasting 12 weeks. The 240-hour day is distributed in live classes from Monday to Friday, from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm. Throughout the period, students will learn to work with data analysis and platforms low code, including the Python programming language – one of the most recurrent in activities related to artificial intelligence and automation, for example.
