In a move to reinforce scientific and technological excellence in Brazil, ABES, through its Think Tank – Center for Intelligence, Public Policies and Innovation, announces the launch of the notice for its Fellowship Program 2025. This initiative seeks to attract doctoral students, post-doctoral students and researchers with completed doctorates, linked to both national and international educational institutions. The goal is to foster the development of studies in areas that are critical to the advancement of public policy and innovation in the country.

The Think Tank, which operates as a center of intellectual convergence, has a strategic partnership with Institute of Advanced Studies of the University of São Paulo (IEA/USP). In 2024, the Think Tank received the prestigious third place in the Marco Maciel Award, granted by the Brazilian Association of Institutional and Governmental Relations (ABRIG), in the RIG category in Organized Civil Society, a relevant indication of its impact on society.

One of the highlights of the Think Tank's intellectual output is the book “Technology and Innovation: Public Policies and Regulatory Aspects of the Sector”, released in April 2024, which compiles 63 articles by 43 authors. This volume is available digitally and aims to disseminate knowledge about the challenges and opportunities in the areas of innovation and technology, covering contemporary topics such as smart cities and ESG.
