Rodolfo Fücher, Chairman of the Board of ABES, participated this Wednesday (26/07) in ERP Day, an online event held by Banco Credit Suisse, in the panel Sector Associations, together with Marcelo Sinhorini, Executive Director of Portal ERP, and Sergio Paulo Gallindo, Executive President of Brasscom. The moderators were analysts Daniel Federle and Victor Ricciuti.

In the panel, Rodolfo highlighted the importance of talking about the great potential of the IT market, which has undergone great maturation during the pandemic, with the acceleration of the migration of solutions from the on premise to the cloud. "This process is still in progress because, even though the software is offered via SaaS, customers have asked for solutions to be adapted, especially on the front end, to adjust the interface for users and meet the new reality of the mobile, decentralized world of work, in which people need anytime and anywhere access”, explained.

Another point he addressed was the arrival of 5G, which will stimulate market demands and expand the development of projects that use IoT, artificial intelligence, edge computing, among other technologies. "We can take the CRM segment as an example, in which 62% of the solutions run on the public cloud. In the ERM segment, this percentage is 20%. In other words, the potential is enormous and there is still much to be explored.”.

The challenges of the IT market were also analyzed in the panel. Rodolfo commented that one of the biggest problems facing Brazil is the lack of qualified labor, which is affecting economic growth and the competitiveness of companies. "Another concern is the payroll tax exemption policy, scheduled to end in December 2023, which could make the cost of personnel more expensive.”, concluded Rodolfo, who also thanked the invitation made by Credit Suisse.
