Accelerator Oxygen opens registration for the 10th acceleration cycle with a focus on startups in the traction phase

After more than 50 Startups accelerated in nine cycles, enrollment for another cycle is now open and is equity free, that is, it does not require a change in equity interest

The 10th acceleration cycle of Oxigênio Aceleradora started on August 4th, with a focus on 100% of business generation and the equity free model. This means that it does not require the opening of equity interest and consulting. The accelerator, which is part of the Porto Seguro Group, seeks to attract startups in the traction phase, focusing on business opportunities between them and Porto Seguro.

The goal is to select up to 10 startups, who will participate for four months in the process of accelerating Oxigênio, in São Paulo, having at their disposal a space equipped with a technology laboratory, auditorium, meeting rooms, in addition to the possibility of having access to events about innovation and entrepreneurship*. “Everyone will be monitored by market mentors, the Oxigênio Aceleradora team and the company's executives,” says Mauricio Martinez, Research and Development manager at Porto Seguro e Oxigênio Aceleradora. “In addition to our partners, who already offer discounts and bonuses for the use of their services, legal consultancy, design, advisory services, among others, will be made available, which will certainly contribute to the development of the startups' activities”, he completes.

Oxigênio Aceleradora seeks solutions that can generate value in the markets in which Porto Seguro operates, such as: insurance, financial products, credit, health, residential and automotive services. For this cycle, among the priority themes are big data and analytics, financial and credit solutions, customer experience, customer insights, new channels, combating fraud, CRM and artificial intelligence. “Our main objective is to create business opportunities with Porto Seguro, develop companies with innovative solutions and thus stimulate the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Brazil.

The equity free model offers a more simplified process and a series of benefits for startups that already have a project in progress and need encouragement to continue with their work. We want startups that offer solutions to our business and contribute to the market”, emphasizes Mauricio Martinez.

Oxigênio will also promote meetings with other partner companies and clients of the Porto Seguro Group, in order to provide business opportunities for these companies.
