As customers become increasingly demanding regarding the digitization of operations, it is urgent to ensure the modernization of processes, without forgetting the importance of aesthetic standards and experience. Updating a system involves complexity and a variety of languages used, which reflect on the application, maintenance and integration of these solutions into other platforms. In other words, it is necessary to examine each point of programming, such as codes, languages, design, experience and carry out all the tests so that it is possible to support the demands of today without risking the structure of the final product, which compromises usability.

Therefore, it is necessary to have a technology that is focused on the constant transformation and evolution of programs to guarantee high performance in updating the legacy. In other words, low-code is the protagonist of this challenge. It is software that works with Artificial Intelligence and is essential to start the application evolution process, as it gathers and automates programming languages and standards from the main technological tools on the market, such as SAP, SAP Fiori, Chatbots, Angular or even even design tools like Sketch and Figma.

Regarding the automation of aesthetic standards with low-code, DesignOps, a function that precedes DevOps activities, will have the possibility to adapt your organization's Design System according to the business needs.

That said, it is noticeable how the use of low-code to modernize and optimize legacy systems covers all the gaps responsible for separating the development of the IT infrastructure from the activities related to User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI), serving companies with agility in the new and constant demands of the customers.

The idea is that Digital Transformation and innovation are a strategic pillar for organizations, while low-code is the basis that will enable agility in modernization and future continuous updates. Innovating legacy systems is very important for the evolution of the business and reducing the complexity of this task can be more agile and easier with the adoption of low-code.
