The environment implemented by Add Value allowed the integration of the solution that not only improved visibility and control over endpoints, as it also allowed Mobly to reduce false positives in its systems by 40%
Mobly, one of the largest furniture and home décor retailers in Brazil, has improved the efficiency of its security architecture with advanced solutions from CrowdStrike, one of the world’s leading cybersecurity players. The integration of the solution not only improved visibility and control over endpoints, improving detection and response, but also allowed Mobly to reduce false positives in its systems by 40%. The project was implemented and supported by Add Value, a consulting firm specializing in cloud technologies, hyperconvergence, networking, security and virtualization.
The company faced cybersecurity challenges in its operations, especially in relation to the increasing global scale of cybersecurity incidents and the need for greater efficiency in detecting and responding to threats. Faced with this reality, the company made the strategic decision to migrate its security solutions to the CrowdStrike Falcon platform, bringing significant results in terms of quality, agility, efficiency and resource savings.
“Before adopting the CrowdStrike Falcon platform, we had a major challenge in protecting our endpoints. The internal team was facing difficulties with false positives, which wasted time and resources, generating dissatisfaction with the response time to incidents and the need to manually deal with many critical alerts were factors that drove the change”, says João Batista, Head of IT and CISO at Mobly.
With over 1,000 endpoints and around 200 servers on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Mobly needed a robust solution that could automate monitoring, reduce false positives, and provide a much faster response time. By opting for the CrowdStrike Falcon platform, Mobly acquired the most complete package of platform licenses, which further empowered the Security Operations Center (SOC) that was even more automated for its devices. With CrowdStrike's expertise in Threat Intelligence and Threat Hunting, Mobly was able to automate a large part of its SOC.
“We are confident in the effectiveness of the CrowdStrike solution and in all the support that Add Value provides us. The quality of the platform has stood out by capturing important events that previously went unnoticed by other tools. Mobly’s cybersecurity has evolved to a new level, allowing the IT and security team to work more efficiently and focus on truly critical incidents. I am sleeping better, knowing that the environment is much more robust,” explains Batista.
With the planned integration of Mobly with Tok&Stok, the strategy is to use CrowdStrike's SOC to protect the legacy of both companies, promoting a complete unification of security operations. In addition, the next step is to invest in the creation of a Security Data Lake, using data collected by CrowdStrike, enriched with generative artificial intelligence, to make protection even more proactive and assertive.
“With the partnership between Add Value, CrowdStrike and Mobly, the company has reached a new level of maturity in cybersecurity, and its team now operates with greater peace of mind and efficiency. Mobly’s digital and cyber transformation is a clear example of how a strategic change and partnership with quality suppliers, such as CrowdStrike, can transform a company’s security and operations in a significant and sustainable way,” highlights Thiago Spósito, partner at Add Value.
“Cyber threats are increasingly sophisticated, making it essential to strike a balance between people, processes and technology. At CrowdStrike, our goal is to ensure that technologies like AI work in synergy with human knowledge, helping companies like Mobly strengthen their cybersecurity resilience,” says Jeferson Propheta, vice president of CrowdStrike for South America.
