THE magic Software, provider of technologies for the development and integration of enterprise applications, announces the compatibility of its tools with Business Agility, defined as a set of capabilities, behaviors and work models that provide companies with flexibility, resilience and freedom to achieve goals, regardless of what happens in the future, according to the definition of the Business Agility Institute.
The company's proposal is to add its technological layer to Business Agility in order to support DevOps teams in the application of low code development resources (magic xpa) and system integration in code (magic xpi) in the business application approaches needed to ensure continuous delivery of enterprise software-based products and services. The initiative of magic Software also has the support of another project in progress, support for startups in the low code development of applications, aiming to accelerate the start of commercial operation of new businesses and from the reduction of implementation costs, enhancing the continuous delivery of software.

According to Rodney Repullo, CEO of magic Software Brasil, Business Agility is the arrival point of agile methodologies applied by companies to carry out the necessary deliveries of their software-based products and services, in a continuous way and with the shortest time-to-market. “To achieve their goals, their DevOps teams make use of several tools technologies, including application development, with emphasis on those that do not require the use of codes in programming, which contributes to reducing development time by up to 90%, depending on the case”, says the executive. With this initiative, according to him, the magic Software aims to position itself with great allies of DevOps teams so that they can achieve the necessary business agility.
Another aspect pointed out by Rodney Repullo for Business Agility is systems integration, which has the function of creating a communication layer between different systems used by companies to manage their businesses. “There is no way to guarantee Business Agility when a lot of time could be wasted trying to connect software applications and data systems that cannot talk to each other. There are cases of mistaken integrations that took 5 times longer than it took to put a business into commercial operation, this is highly detrimental to the business, he emphasizes.
Future Proof Business Agility – According to Rodney Repullo, companies have been evolving in their digitalization and have started to invest more and more in technologies that can guarantee business agility. However, he says, they cannot rely on tools short-lived, that is, that do not have the evolution they need so as not to get lost in time and have to rewrite their applications in other tools precisely because the ones you are using today may be discontinued someday. “There are an infinity of cases like this, where software companies end up closing their doors because they were not able to migrate their applications to other better technologies”, he comments.
