What would be a better course of action, for the challenge and opportunity arising from AI?
I believe it would be to have a new and ambitious Purpose: To be smarter than AI, to use it widely, yes, but to be a protagonist when interacting with it.
If this premise is understood, accepted and practiced, it is an open “avenue” to establish an entrepreneurial and strategic connection with it, with immeasurable benefits.
Reality we experience
We are being strongly challenged by the reality of AI. As responses, there are reflections and actions being taken.
In a volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous world, AI will be able to define which organizations will be successful, be they: Academies, companies, governments and social entities.
However, to achieve this, people must be at the center of everything. In any aspect where this is not fully considered, the results will be partial and ineffective.
A solution for this reality
It is urgent that more and more people understand this reality and have more access to training to better benefit from AI.
To meet the relevant demand, the I Enable Portal, an initiative by the Itaqui Institute, provides training for people to meet the requirements of the digital economy, offering free IBM AI courses SkillsBuild, 100% Online.
By completing the courses listed below, the Person earns an IBM certification SkillsBuild in AI Fundamentals
Introduction to Artificial Intelligence:
The person will learn a little about the history of AI, with its three waves of transformative development. Today, it gives humanity the most powerful tools to analyze complex data not only in search of meaning, but to learn without human intervention. Time: 1h15.
Natural Language Processing and Computer Vision:
In this course, students explore natural language theory and vision processing, and learn how these technologies drive real-world mechanisms such as chatbots and photo analysis. Time: 1h35.
Machine Learning and Deep Learning:
In this course, you will see how machines can learn and make incredible predictions based on evidence. Time: 2h20
You may have heard of problems that arise when AI systems misinterpret data or propose solutions that reflect human bias. In this course, you will learn about the five pillars of AI ethics: fairness, robustness, explainability, transparency, and privacy. Through real-world examples, you will learn about AI ethics, how they are implemented, and why they are so important for building trustworthy AI systems. Time: 1h45.
Your Future in AI – The Job Landscape:
In this course, learn about the rapidly growing AI job market and the skills needed to succeed in this exciting field. Time: 50 minutes.
What is Artificial Intelligence?
Learn how experts answer the question and explore concepts like machine learning and deep learning. Time: 45 min.
Artificial Intelligence – first steps:
The person will be introduced to the world of AI, showing the fundamental elements of the technology up to the ethical implications for its development. Time: 1h35.
Artificial Intelligence in Practice:
From communicating with chatbots, to driving self-driving cars and solving complex problems, you will see how AI is applied to solve a wide range of problems. Time: 40 min.
Mastering the art of creating prompts:
In a practical way, the person will learn about AI language models and the rules to be followed when giving instructions or creating prompts. The person will participate in an activity to apply what they have learned, to create prompts effectively. Time: 1h.
In this course, students will understand how technology has revolutionized the way organizations can implement sustainability solutions, including forecasting energy needs, monitoring bridge safety, protecting the oceans, and global food supply. Time: 1h30.
Conclusion
In the introduction to this article, the relevance of AI is clear
There are countless resources for learning AI; above is a little help.
In July 3rd last I wrote about Intelligence: Human, Emotional and Artificial – Together, It also helps to better understand the topic.
