Together, the companies have more than 350 clients, processing 6 million payslips annually.

Benner Group, a Brazilian leader in providing software solutions and services that drive business processes, and Propay, a leading payroll BPO, benefits brokerage and technology integration company focused on HR, have just announced a partnership to boost companies’ Strategic HR with services that combine the know-how and competitive advantages of both organizations. The goal is for the brands’ clients to have access to both Benner’s technology and Propay’s specialized services.

Together, the companies currently have over 350 clients and 6 million payslips processed annually with payroll solutions. The companies' goal is to expand the number of companies served by 25% over the next two years, through a service that includes an easy-to-understand interface, personalized queries, digital admissions, integrated modules, agility, intuitive experience, among other benefits.

HR Industry Trends

The union of companies is linked to the main market trends in the human resources sector. According to the Human Capital Management Solutions Brazilian Report, published by MIT Sloan Management Review Brazil in 2024, 67.51% of Brazilian managers and leaders state that strengthening strategic vision is one of the main benefits offered by Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions.

According to the Vice President of Operations at Grupo Benner, Lucrécia Oliveira, one of the biggest challenges facing companies today is developing a Strategic HR department, making the partnership suitable for meeting the current demand in the segment. “Together, the companies operate in a market with around 40,000 potential companies in Brazil, of which 22,000 are concentrated in the Southeast,” she explains.

The executive also adds that the goal of the partnership is to consolidate leadership in the sector and meet a growing demand for integrated and efficient solutions. “Our purpose is to enhance the use of the Benner Platform, while developing new features that meet the challenges of companies in an integrated, efficient and cost-effective manner, in addition to the agility in implementation and qualified support offered by Propay. We are facing a market full of opportunities for companies with the capacity to contribute. The main objective of this strategy is to optimize intelligence in HR, by uniting portfolios of companies that are widely consolidated in the market”, she adds.

The complementarity and synergy between Grupo Benner and Propay have been discussed for about a year and were resumed with greater intensity in the second quarter of 2024. For Propay CEO, Leandro Bonetti, one of the factors that generated cooperation between the companies was the intention to mutually boost growth in the segment.

“Our strategic partnership aims to transform the HR market with efficient, innovative and unique HR solutions. The Benner Group, recognized for its comprehensive and flexible technologies, expands our reach to serve companies of different sizes and segments. This collaboration strengthens our portfolio, allowing us to deliver tailored solutions for the unique challenges of each client. We are confident that this partnership will be a milestone in the transformation of the market,” he highlights.

Propay has over 25 years of experience in payroll BPO, and in addition to this service, it offers technological integrations and acts as an insurance and benefits broker, ensuring the integrated management of essential actions from the HR department to the organization.

The Benner Group offers a complete management system and strategic vision for digital HR, integrating modules for payroll management, people management, risk management and strategic company management into a single platform. The solution is 100% web and has native integration between all modules. In addition, it stands out for its 24-hour HR Platform, which guarantees continuous and automated service for employees, and for its Digital Admission and Digital Signature processes, which modernize document management, eliminate the use of paper, ensure legal validity and simplify flows such as hiring and document signing.

“On one hand, Benner provides the elimination of rework and operational efficiency. On the other, Propay brings customization and agility. The union of these two companies, with such expertise, will allow companies to accelerate decision-making regarding their most precious asset: their employees,” concludes Bonetti.
