"PAN ABES FDC" will bring a survey on the challenges and opportunities that companies in the area have; with the results it will be possible to help boost the sector in Brazil

In order to promote the development of companies in the software sector and enhance their results, ABES (Brazilian Association of Software Companies) and Fundação Dom Cabral - one of the nine best business schools in the world, according to the ranking of the British newspaper Financial Times (2020 edition) - announce the launch of the partnership "PAN ABES FDC". Through the so-called “Management Diagnosis”, a survey made available to ABES member companies, it will be possible to identify the challenges and critical issues to develop companies in this segment. The survey, which brings about 50 questions distributed in the economic-financial sub-themes; Marketplace; internal processes and technology; customers; and people for analysis, also counts on companies from FDC's PAN (Business Acceleration Partnership) program, which aims to help develop companies with a turnover of between R ﹩ 2 and R ﹩ 15 million per year, in addition to others developing companies.

For Rodolfo Fücher, president of ABES, the partnership helps the association to ensure a business environment conducive to innovation, ethical, dynamic, sustainable and globally competitive. “We aim to contribute to the construction of a more digital and less unequal Brazil, in which technology companies play a fundamental role, with solutions that facilitate our daily lives, democratize knowledge, and create new income opportunities, in an inclusive and egalitarian way. With the result of this research, we will be able to direct our efforts to improve the management of these companies, in line with the best ESG practices, and be more efficient in our purpose ”, he points out.

“With the results of the survey, it will be possible to outline a scenario that will enable companies to understand in which sector of the company it is necessary to dedicate more attention and on what points are the development opportunities that they have”, says José Antonio Capito, Associate Professor at Fundação Dom Cabral, who works in the Strategy and Finance area in the PAN - Partnership for Business Acceleration program.

The PAN brings a training day that includes diagnoses of evolution and business plan, in addition to workshops, mentoring and follow-up meetings in agile execution to engage leaders and teams. The program takes place in annual development cycles, with content and methodologies appropriate to the needs of each company. Throughout the process, participants will be able to exchange experiences with Fundação Dom Cabral professors and market executives through collective online mentoring. PAN will also provide complementary content with cases, articles, videos, podcasts and texts.
