The Brazilian Association of Software Companies (ABES), a leading player in the discussion on innovations and challenges that impact the future of the global market, presented the highlights of its 2024 Software Market Study at Tech Day, an event promoted by Sebrae/RJ that concluded the 2024 cycle of the Upgrade.TI Project. The meeting brought together companies and experts to discuss industry trends, present opportunities for 2025, and promote networking among participants. Jorge Sukarie, ABES advisor, represented ABES at the event.
The latest edition of the survey, considered the main reference for the sector in Brazil, showed that Brazil is once again among the 10 largest global powers in technology, leading in Latin America with 37.2% of regional investments, totaling US$ 50 billion in 2023.
“Tech Day is an opportunity for IT companies to update themselves on the market, access strategic information and expand their network of contacts, ensuring competitive positioning for 2025. The ABES study, which was presented at the event, shows our growing maturity in IT, with significant advances in software and services, especially in the areas of cloud solutions, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, but also the need for constant preparation”, says Sukarie.
The agenda included the presentation of notices, public calls and financial services planned for the next year, as well as a business session, aimed at creating strategic connections.
