Investment in new technologies is a trend that needs to be monitored in all market segments, being mandatory for organizations that want to remain competitive. So much so that a study carried out by the International Data Corporation (IDC), with the participation of 389 representatives of companies around the world, points out that investment in technological solutions should increase by 11% by 2027.

In this sense, the managers and leaders of companies should keep in mind that, when starting the process of implementing new solutions in a corporate space, it is important to pay due attention to all the details of the IT environment, so that these innovations can exert their maximum potential. And it is at this moment that the Assessment becomes an important ally.

In an everyday analogy, this process basically works like a health check-up, but in the IT environment. In the same way that a diagnosis is made on the patient from exams, the Assessment performs an analysis of the entire technological environment of a company, defining the strengths and weaknesses, which aspects need improvement and providing relevant information so that the decision making for companies to be more assertive.

The benefits of the Assessment for business acceleration

The diagnosis in the IT environment in a company can make room for modernizations to be made in various applications, with more security, based on data and bringing effective results, in addition to guaranteeing a reduction in costs for the business. A relevant example of savings made possible by this analysis is the more efficient software management, especially with regard to application licenses and contract renegotiations for these programs, which can generate annual savings of up to 30%, according to Gartner.

And, unlike a medical check-up, which is most often done when something is wrong with health, the Assessment can be performed at any time, from an assessment to design improvements to what is already relatively in order, or to optimizing a sector with low performance, and even diagnosing the company's IT landscape at the time of implementing a new solution.

For this, it is essential to have an experienced partner in this process, since, after carrying out the "check-up", the partner company and its client must remain close and in constant monitoring, so that issues such as security and vulnerability are addressed. closely analyzed and all its digital journey develop properly. In addition, the diagnoses and reports generated from the evaluation aim to optimize the final customer experience, whatever it may be.

In this way, analyzing the IT environment, its size and its solution implementation needs can be a great competitive differentiator for companies. Implementing new technological solutions and not investing in Assessment is like “working in the dark” and can have negative consequences for companies, such as problems with migration, incorrect sizing of resources, workloads that do not work correctly in the a cloud and poorly managed resources, incurring unnecessary expenditure. Therefore, minimizing these possible risks has become a determining factor for organizations that need to remain strong, secure and agile in an increasingly demanding market.
