THE Metalúrgica Golin, a reference company in the manufacturing of steel tubes in Brazil, announced significant results after implementing the SWPaaS platform, developed by Sawluz. With a significant 40% reduction in order processing time, Golin has experienced a significant improvement in the efficiency of its internal procedures, especially in commercial operations, and in communication with customers.
The SWPaaS platform represents an evolution of the legacy EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) system, taking the concept to the cloud with advanced features that facilitate real-time data management.
Denis Ricardo da Silva, PCP, Logistics and Administration Manager at Metalúrgica Golin, highlights that “SWPaaS simplified our processes, making communication with our customers more direct and efficient, in addition to providing substantial savings in time and resources“.
SWPaaS, developed by Sawluz, is a cloud-hosted EDI technology that uses the AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security. With features such as real-time notification and complete traceability of files transferred, the tool was designed to be scalable and adaptable to the specificities of each client.
Located in Guarulhos (SP) and with a branch in São João da Boa Vista (SP), Golin stands out for its ability to manufacture and customize steel tubes – square, rectangular, round and special shapes – from initial demand to final delivery. Serving various sectors, such as automotive, agriculture and civil construction, the company continues to expand its exports to South and North America, demanding technological solutions, such as SWPaaS, to accompany its expansion.

Werter Padilha, CEO of Sawluz, details: “Our approach is to deeply understand customer needs. We have created an EDI solution that not only meets, but exceeds expectations in functionality and performance. With SWPaaS, our customers have at their disposal a robust and versatile platform, capable of adapting to the demands of an increasingly globalized market.”. The platform is available in three languages (Portuguese, Spanish and English) and was designed to serve an international market, offering Brazilian companies a powerful tool to compete with global giants.
