Upon completing 25 years of its foundation in 2011, a moment of celebration of great achievements in the defense of intellectual property, such as the approval of the new Software Law in Brazil, the recognition of software as a service and the inclusion of the software sector in Plano Brasil Larger, ABES decided to create an annual event to debate issues relevant to the ICT sector.

Thus, the ABES Software Conference emerged, which was initially called the ABES Conference for IT Solutions. Addressing emerging and important themes related to information technology and trends, each edition has contributed to broaden the discussion on the entire ICT market in Brazil and worldwide.
